2019 was a great year for foodies in Delhi. The city saw the opening of multiple restaurants and bars that gave them an excuse to keep trying new dishes throughout the year. Some of these places were of course a league apart for they redefined hospitality and decadence with their ingenious dishes, welcoming ambience, and prompt service. So, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and revisit our favourite restaurants that opened in Delhi in 2019.

1. Soy Soi, Ardee City

The plethora of Asian restaurants in Delhi gives us a clear indication that Delhiites cannot get enough of their Thai Curry and Ramen. So when Soy Soi, the Chennai juggernaut known for its unmistakable Tempuras and Pumpkin Curry, opened a new outlet in Ardee City, it was only natural for it to attract a huge crowd. The restaurant did not disappoint at all with its variety of veg sushi, delicious Pad Thai, and other delectable dishes.

The restaurant has managed to give a fresh perspective to modern Indian dining, which had been stagnant in taste for quite some time now. A lot of people visit the restaurant for its serene ambience and remarkable coastal food.

This Bengaluru giant has suddenly stormed up on the Delhi food circuit with two new outlets, one each in Delhi and Gurgaon. The Gurgaon outlet is mainly focused on gigs, music, and drinks - while the Khan Market outlet spills out the more snazzy and innovative offerings in the form of lip-smacking food and an attractive setting.
