It’s not for nothing that a plate of Dahi Bhalla at Natraj is a ritual for people who visit Chandni Chowk regularly. This tiny shop has been around since 1940, with its popularity only growing by the day. Reason? The bhallas sold here are melt-in-your-mouth soft, and taste scrumptious! The curd, on the other hand, is thick and creamy, with the sonth adding a dash of sweetness and flavour to it. This street food is garnished with some red chilli powder and chaat masala, giving it another layer of deliciousness.

One of the best street foods in Delhi, this dahi bhalla is worth nudging your way through the Chandni Chowk crowd. If you can manage to save some space in your tummy after eating it, you should absolutely try their Aloo Tikki, which is pretty crunchy, and quite well-known too.

7.  Bishan Swaroop Chaat Corner

Widely known for its sweet and tangy Fruit Chaat - which is a mix of tomato, star fruit, guava, watermelon, cucumber, beetroot, apple, orange, papaya, freshly fried potato and chickpeas - has been around since 1923. The chaat is served in a dona (leaf plate) and garnished with spices such as roasted cinnamon, black pepper and chaat masala, combined with lemon juice and tossed in coriander chutney. Named after its customers, the UPSC aspirants, this chaat stall starts serving only after noon, but has a long queue almost always waiting to hog on its tasty chaat. While the place aces almost everything on its menu, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the aloo tikki, which is served with sonth and mint chutney. Add to that, creamy Falooda Kulfi, and we bet you would come back smiling!

Located in Sitaram Bazar, this stall is popular for its Aloo Chaat, Mixed Fruit Chaat and Dry Fruit Chaat, making it one of the most famous chaat in Delhi, and rightly so.

There are very few places in Delhi that serve this Rajasthani street food, and even fewer that do it right - Ashok Chaat Corner is definitely one of them. Four kinds of gol gappas, amla water instead of imli water, and Dahi Papri Chaat - this is what makes Padam Chaat Corner one of the most sought-after chaat places in Delhi. While you might think that the pricing is slightly on the higher side, because of the variety of gol gappas and amla water; it’s really not. What we would, however, want to point out is how humble the man behind the counter is, and how he just makes the whole experience better with his modesty and customer service.

An extremely hygienic and well-maintained place, the Chaat Chowk in Galleria shouldn’t be missed. They offer a number of chaat options, while making sure everything tastes really good. We would recommend their Dahi Gol Gappas and Sev Puri - and you can thank us later!
