Noida Folks Will Get Doorstep Delivery Of Groceries & Meds Via A New App

Shopping of essential items like grocery and medicines has got a lot of residents in India worried during the lockdown. But administration around the country are finding out inventive ways to make sure that citizens do not run of anything they need and similar efforts in Noida have led city authority to launch a special mobile app that will ensure doorstep delivery of indispensable items like fruits, vegetables, and medicines in quick time.

The app - Noida Apurti - will provide residents with names and contact details of vendors like which citizens can subsequently use to make orders depending as per the proximity of respective localities. Residents will have to feed a list of their requirements to the app along with the name of their area and the app will then direct users to the name, sector, and phone number of the service provider. It will also have a button to call and make orders.

The mobile app is currently available only on Google Play Store and Noida authority’s website noidaauthorityonline.com although the service may be expanded to Apple's app store. The authority has deployed over 700 unique vendors assigned to each sector and village to ensure efficient delivery of these essential services.
