Nanney Khaan is a part of Prag Hospitality Company, an award-winning food service enterprise. The recipes of Nanney Khaan are based on recipes found in an old trunk from the Jama Masjid area of Delhi, from a Khansama (Chef) of a British Colonel.
Having joined the Colonel’s household in Lucknow, right after the mutiny of 1857, Nanney Khaan traveled the length and breadth of India in his service, visiting different Royal palaces and thus their kitchens. He craftily observed and noted down these precious recipes in a bahi khata (old Indian notebook), from where we got his life history along with the recipes.
