A 52-year old woman was rushed to the hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack at the Swingfields Festival, dubbed ‘Europe’s biggest sex festival’ after the reveller ‘pushed herself too hard’ during group activities.
When someone tells you that they had a memorable time at a festival, you’d probably think that they’re talking about a lively music concert that they recently attended. However, after a 52-year old attendee of the Swingfields festival in Worcestershire, England, was rushed to hospital following a suspected heart attack, that statement has taken on a completely different meaning.
What’s so special about this woman’s heart attack, we hear you ask? Well, Swingfields is also known as ‘Europe’s biggest sex festival,’ and the lady in question suffered the medical episode after ‘pushing herself too hard during group activities’.

The three-day festival is being held in a field near Malvern in Worcestershire, UK, and promises to deliver a 'fun and entertaining event for all'. The site location was a closely-kept secret, and only ticket holders who had paid a hefty entrance fee beforehand were told where it was being held - and that too, just 48 hours before the festival got underway!

It was during a frenzy of fun group activities, including jelly wrestling and a racy version of tug of war, that the 52-year old started gasping for breath. She had to be rushed to the hospital via an air ambulance, casting a damper on the mood of her 700-odd fellow attendees. However, according to reports, it didn’t take long for the ‘fun and games’ to return.
Don’t worry, just like most of the encounters in the festival, this story also has a ‘happy ending’. After undergoing emergency treatment and staying in the hospital for at least two days, the patient is on the road to recovery. She’s all set to be discharged soon, with a stent in one of her blocked arteries, and an amazing story to regale her friends and family with!
