Save Time And Fly In A Chopper From KIA To Electronic City By February 2021!

Bangalore is known for its weather, its pubs, its garden and of course, for its infamous traffic jams and the airport (which seems to be in another city). But come February 2021, you can fly across from Kempegowda International Airport to Electronic City all thanks to BLADE India.

helicoptersThe company has approached the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to use their heli-pad but other landing facilities and required infrastructure will be built outside KIA and Electronic City. Considering Bengaluru’s potential, the company plans to replicate BLADE USA’s heli-link between New York City and the airport model. In a quote to Deccan Herald, the MD, BLADE India said, “Looking at Bengaluru’s big potential for growth in this sector, we will initially start with one or two helicopters and increase the fleet as the demand increases.”

helicoptersAnother reason to start these services is the fact that many international flights will kick start their direct flights from Bangalore to American cities (Bangalore to San Francisco). United Airlines too will be starting their flights from April. Factoring in all these details, the heli-transport is expecting a big boom from KIA.

helicoptersStarting December 18, the company has already started its heli-charter services in other parts of Karnataka, initially the helicopters will be flying between Bengaluru and Kodagu, Kabini, Chikkamangaluru and Hampi. The services will cater to the end-of-year demand and connect the city to hotels and resorts in different parts of the state.
We can’t wait to fly high  on this helicopter, can you?
