1. Hard Rock Cafe Whitefield

Oh yes, folks in Whitefield, Hard Rock Cafe has just opened up in your hood! Bringing together their signature blend of rock music, merchandise and themed decor, the place is sure to be a hit with music-lovers. While they have their selection of cocktails and beer to sort you out, we suggest you try the newest addition on their menu, the boozy milkshakes. While you're at it, chomp on dishes like Charred Huli-Huli Veg Skewers, Original Hard Rock Onion Rings and Grilled Tenderloin Steak. 2. Raahi

Blending Modern Indian and fusion dishes, Raahi has become a hotspot for foodies in the city. Promising you a diverse culinary experience, they have dishes like Pandi Pork Scratchings (with bacon chutney), Textures of Mushrooms, Parsi Lamb Boti Pie and Burrata & Pesto Kulcha. 3. Ministop

Started by food blogger-turned-chef, Megha Deokule (you might know her by her Instagram handle, @acefoodie), Ministop is a new cafe in JP Nagar. Serving a mix of comfort food as well as healthy dishes, the place has all-time faves like Eggs Kejriwal and Bombay Sandwich along with bakes like Millet Brownie and Coffee & Walnut Cake. Oh, and make sure to try their Hot Chocolate which is not overly sweet but just chocolatey enough to please the chocoholic in us.

4. Merak

Want to sit by the poolside and down a beer or two? Well, now, you have a new place to head to - Merak. Designed to be something akin to a city escape and opened in association with Corona, the place has plenty of plants all around. In fact, it's themed around well-being and bliss, we're told. So, while you soak in the pleasant vibes, there are cocktails and beers to drink up and bar bites (try the Cantonese Style Lobster and Naga Chilly Mushrooms) to go with them. Perfect for a fancy Sunday evening, we say.

5. Fox In The Field

Spread across four floors, Fox In The Field packs in a library bar, a performance space, a rooftop spot and a brewery! Along with craft beers, they have a selection of cool cocktails like Tikironi (with coconut-infused rum) and Soul (which has curry and chilly syrup with gin, tamarind and kokum). 6. Red Tomato

If you're a true-blue pizza lover, then chances are that you've already been to Red Tomato? Steering away from conventional pizzas, they have some really whacky options that need to make it into your must-try list, even if it's just for the fun of it! How about a Death By Pizza - essentially, a pizza on a pizza! - or stuffed crust pizzas with fillings like Gnocchi Crust & Cream? Or perhaps a Whopper, their triangular-shaped pizza with toppings of your choice? They've also got heavy-duty deep dish pizzas and thin crust ones. 6. Zed The Baker 

What's not to love about freshly baked croissants and artisanal breads, right? Well, that's just what you'll get at Zed The Baker, a new bakery on Lavelle Road. Whether you want to sit back for a cuppa and some pies or just binge on their baked goodies (so many tarts to try!), this one's sure to sort you out. They also have sandwiches, pasta and pizza, if you need something more.

7. Paris Panini

Remember Le Casse Croute and their delicious Croque sandwiches? Well, the good folks behind the popular French food truck have gone on to open Paris Panini, an eatery that's all about street food from France. Gourmet paninis are what they seem to specialise in with plenty of vegetarian and non-veg options to tuck into, and all with classic French names - Colette, Francois and Michel. Make it a combo by adding on a side and a dip or end on a sweet note with one of their desserts. They also have croissants in the morning, we hear.

8. Urban Deccan Pub
