Travel enthusiasts, here’s news. India and Maldives are all set to have a ferry service connecting the two countries and it’s going to be from Kochi!

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the neighbouring country, the leaders of both nations have agreed to launch a ferry service between India and Maldives. Oh yes! The passenger-cum-cargo service will run from Kochi (Kerala) to Male in Maldives (700 km from Kochi) via Kulhudhuffushi toll (500 km from Kochi). Which means, once this is introduced, you can head to Kochi and take a more scenic route to the tropical destination! In fact, this is the first time we’re going to have a passenger and cargo service connecting the Indian mainland with the Maldives. Well, we can’t wait to go on this trip already!
