A quaint, private restaurant off Bannerghatta Road, the place is run by Chef Himanshu Dimri and his wife, Sonali Sattar. Known for its exclusive setting, Grasshopper has only five tables and includes two completely private dining spaces! Plus, you won’t get to walk in as you please, they take customers only on the basis of reservations.

Once your booking is confirmed, someone from the restaurant calls you to note down your dietary preferences. If you’re wondering what could be so special about a meal here, step into the space and you’ll understand instantly. The place, set up in a farmhouse with greenery all around, has candlelit tables where you will be seated. With its dreamy, rustic setting, this is where you can pop the question or celebrate a special day in absolute privacy. 

Starting with a refreshing drink, your meal (choose between five-course or seven-course) will include appetisers, salads and mains. They have a set menu which keeps changing every now and then to incorporate seasonal produce. We’ve spotted dishes like Prawns with Ginger, Sesame and Seaweed, Lamb Rounds with a Spiced Red Wine Sauce and Beef and Mushroom Roulades, among others. Oh, and dessert here is a splendid affair with treats like Basil Panna Cotta, Coconut and Passion Fruit Tres Leches and Dark Chocolate Ganache with Mustard Ice Cream for you to pick from.
