Asia’s Biggest Brewpub, Byg Brewski Brewing Company Has 12 Beers & 4 Collab Brews For Novemberfest!

True to their Viking spirit, the folks at Byg Brewski Brewing Company are giving us a dose of the cheer and liveliness of the now-cancelled Oktoberfest! How, you ask? Well, with a cool collaboration of Bangalore's finest brewers, they are curating their highest-ever beers on tap - 12 craft brews - as part of Novemberfest! Oh, and they have a special food menu with elements infused from Bavarian cuisine, perfectly pairing with their craft beers.

It goes without saying that COVID-19 has totally turned our lives upside down, with everything from work-life to fun events being affected. Although we did expect it, the cancellation of Oktoberfest did hit us hard. What would otherwise have been a month of chugging on special brews and Oktoberfest treats turned out to be dismal and dull. However, the good folks at Byg Brewski clearly believe in turning every day into a joyous celebration, even in the midst of troubled times. So, much to the delight of beer-lovers in the city, they have just launched the Novemberfest, a spin-off of the famed Oktoberfest!

Going all out to outdo themselves, Byg Brewski has brought together some of Bangalore’s best brewers to create special brews for the fest. So, you’ll get to sip on Byg Weizen by The Bier Library’s Amit Mishra or try Hollis Coates’ (from Arbor Brewing Co.) Arbyg Forst which comes with a hint of bitter chocolate flavour. Crafted by Karthik from Wall Street Sky Lounge, there’s also the Byg Dubbel K, a Belgian Dubbel, for you to chug on. Plus, plenty of their in-house brews like Byg Peppercorn, Byg Bee and Byg Stout on tap!

What’s a beer festival without some food to go with the drinks, right? To sort you out, Byg Brewski’s Novemberfest food menu features classics like tacos and sandwiches albeit with a ‘beery’ twist. Think Tequila and Lager Chicken Tacos, Balsamic Stout Mushrooms Tacos and Pulled Pork Pretzel in stout-infused buns.

While you make most of the city’s breezy weather and the Novemberfest specials, you needn’t worry about safety risks at all. The brewery has plenty of space to ensure social distancing; it’s Asia’s largest brewpub, after all!
