News of water crisis sending chills down your spine? Well, the predicted rains may just be our saving grace. Bangalore likely to get light showers and thunderstorms over the next two weeks.

According to the Skymetweather, Bangalore is likely to receive light showers and thunderstorms over the next few days till the end of the month. This comes as a respite since Bangalore has been receiving about 35% lesser rains when compared to last year. It's also great to hear this because of the impending water crisis that’s been predicted by environmentalists around the country. 

Expect showers across Bangalore starting noon which is likely to go on till midnight, almost every day this month. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy showers along the coastlines of Karnataka. Time to bring out your umbrellas and invest in a pair of waterproof shoes we think! We are also hoping that the rains will be sufficient to recharge the groundwater in the city and the citizens learn to use the water judiciously and invest in rainwater harvesting.
