We stumbled upon Karnivore Kitchen when looking to order from Wullar Kitchen by Owais Rasool, a home cook specialising in Kashmiri food. Our interest peaked when we realised Kalyan prepares specifically meat dishes (pork, chicken, lamb), all of which are mostly South Indian. You may notice an odd Goan Vindaloo but all of his other dishes are of Karnataka origin. He's also the owner of The Balanced Plate Cafe in Banashankari and started cooking to deliver these dishes only since the lockdown started, thanks to the free time and incessant requests from his friends.

Some popular dishes we noticed include Kodava Pandi Curry, Home Style Pork Pepper Fry, Kundapura Chicken Ghee Roast (a healthier version, we're told), Naati Chicken Palav and Mutton Kaima Unde (meatballs). If like us, you’re already drooling, you’re in for a treat because the menu is not set and there are plenty more dishes which are yet to be added.

Don’t miss out on his delicious Bannur Mutton Palav which is a generations-old family recipe, the spicy Chicken Pepper Curry made naati style or the signature Pork Belly Fry which is often sold out quickly. You can even get plain rice alongside your curries. If you’d like to order, DM on his profile two days in advance and you can Dunzo the order. We can’t wait to try the food! And oh, stay on a lookout because he's planning to introduce exotic, offal meat to the menu soon!

Price: Rs. 300 - Rs. 500 per dish
